Experimental Photography: Cyanotype Workshop with Clare Fox on Sunday July 29

55.00

Hosted by Clare Fox, from Mutual Adoration and POST

Sunday July 29th from 1 to 4pm

Let’s make photographs the old fashioned way!

During this 3 hour make & take workshop, you will learn about the history of cyanotypes while creating your own prints. We will be experimenting with various materials while you learn the process of making these rich, indigo colored sunprints. We will use botanical specimens, cut paper, string and other common household objects to create unique compositions on prepared, light-sensitive, cotton paper. Everyone will take home multiple prints and instructions for future exploration.

  • Dress for comfort (indoor/outdoor) and potential staining

  • No experience necessary.

  • This class is open to ages 14+

  • All materials are provided.

  • Refreshments will be served.
